At EIGHT & ARGÔT, we take care to source exceptional materials and premium leathers, and we believe in preserving proximity and time-honored tradition. We work with a local network of the finest family-run manufacturers, who maintain many of the manual processes and employ centuries-old techniques, using work methods that are passed down from one generation to the next.

Even today, we are fascinated by the craftsmanship and complexity involved in the manufacturing. It is a time-stopping labor that involves dedication, patience, and great amounts of care. We want each piece to capture that authenticity, so that our shoes have soul.
Because there is no time for soulless things.

IMPERFECTLY PERFECT

Behind each pair, there is a laborious effort and many talented hands that bring the designs we envision to life. From the making of the last to the moment the shoes are placed in their box, more than 45 skilled hands are involved.
They may not be the fastest tools, but they are the most precise, leaving the most love sealed in each piece. We believe in those things.

And all of this is done with the imperfect artisanal perfection that we love, transforming irregularities into something singular and unique, making every EIGHT & ARGÔT shoe special.

In a world of noise, rush, and confusion, we seek slow down.

We create from within. When we manage to shape the perfect footwear we imagine or find the materials we look for, and especially when we are inspired. Without the forced urgency to refresh our collection just for the sake of it, we defend a lasting and timeless creative foundation that is not at all disposable.

By keeping our batches small and infused with the sustainability of their mindful artisanal production, we avoid unnecessary surplus inventory, allowing us to promote responsible consumption, keep our product out of landfills, while supporting durability and longer use cycles.

TIMELESS

In a world flooded with the noise of fleeting trends, we see timelessness not as an option but as a must. From the very beginning, we've drawn inspiration from that expansive feeling to capture that intangible essence in a tangible way.

We don’t ask our styles to last a season—we expect them to last for years to come. Real sustainability is all about reusable designs that work just as well now as they did years ago, since they don’t follow fashion trends and never go out of style.
